Prosperithia relies primarily on your browser's local storage and session storage to operate, rather than HTTP cookies. We use these technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and store the financial data you enter so that it is available to you within the application. We do not use cookies or other technologies to track you across other websites, and we do not sell or share data collected through these technologies for advertising purposes.

3. Strictly necessary technologies

Some technologies are strictly necessary for the Service to function and cannot be switched off, because they enable core features such as authentication, session continuity, and secure access to your account and data. These include the authentication token that keeps you signed in, the application configuration values required to connect to the Service, and the data-sync cache that allows your financial data to be available and up to date within the application. Because these technologies are essential to provide the Service you requested, they are used without requiring separate consent.

4. Functional technologies

We use local storage to remember certain preferences that improve your experience, such as your selected interface language and your light or dark theme choice. These are first-party preference settings stored only in your browser. They are not used for tracking and do not identify you across sites. You can clear them at any time through your browser settings without affecting your ability to use the Service; only your saved preference would be reset to its default.

5. Analytics cookies

Prosperithia does not use analytics cookies or analytics web storage. We do not embed analytics tools that collect statistics about your visits through cookies or similar technologies.

6. Marketing cookies

Prosperithia does not use marketing or advertising cookies. We do not embed advertising networks, marketing trackers, or cross-site advertising pixels.

7. Third-party services

We use Stripe to process subscription payments. Stripe's payment form is loaded only during the checkout and payment flow, and Stripe may set its own cookies on its own domain as part of the payment process. Prosperithia does not control Stripe's cookies and does not receive payment card data directly. For more information, see Stripe's own privacy and cookie policy. Apart from the payment provider, the Service is operated on the Base44 platform, which provides the infrastructure that hosts the Service and manages authentication. The Base44 platform may use its own strictly necessary technologies to operate authentication and the Service.

8. Technologies, purposes and retention

The following summary lists the technologies actually used. Because Prosperithia stores these values in your browser's web storage rather than as HTTP cookies, exact retention depends on your browser settings; the periods below describe how long the values remain by default.

• Authentication token (local storage) — purpose: keeps you signed in to your account; provider: Synaptrix AI / Base44 platform; retention: until you log out or clear browser data.
• Application configuration (local storage) — purpose: stores the values needed to connect your browser to the Service; provider: Base44 platform; retention: until you clear browser data.
• Data-sync cache (local storage) — purpose: stores your financial data locally so it is available and can be synchronised within the application; provider: Synaptrix AI; retention: until you clear the data or reset it in Settings.
• Language and theme preferences (local storage) — purpose: remembers your selected language and light/dark theme; provider: Synaptrix AI; retention: until you change the preference or clear browser data.
• Session storage — purpose: holds transient session information during a single browsing session; provider: Synaptrix AI / Base44 platform; retention: cleared when you close the browser.

9. Legal basis

Under the ePrivacy Directive and applicable Romanian law, consent is not required for technologies that are strictly necessary to provide the Service you requested. The authentication, application-configuration, and data-sync technologies described above are strictly necessary for the Service to function. Functional preference storage (language and theme) is a first-party preference that is necessary to remember choices you have made for the Service. Because Prosperithia does not use analytics, marketing, or tracking technologies, no consent mechanism for non-essential cookies is required. Where the GDPR applies, the lawful basis for processing the personal data associated with these technologies is the performance of a contract with you (providing the Service) and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service.

10. Managing your preferences

Prosperithia displays a cookie information banner on the landing page when you first visit, allowing you to acknowledge the technologies used and to choose whether to allow functional preference storage (such as remembering your selected language). Essential technologies remain active regardless of your choice. You can review and change your preferences at any time through the 'Cookie Settings' link in the footer, or by clearing the web storage used by the Service through your browser settings. Clearing this data will sign you out and reset your saved preferences, but will not delete the financial data stored in your account, which remains available when you sign in again.

11. Withdrawing consent

Because Prosperithia does not use tracking technologies, the only optional consent you can give or withdraw concerns functional preference storage (remembering your language). You can withdraw this consent at any time through the 'Cookie Settings' link in the footer or through your browser settings. Essential technologies remain active and are not affected by your choice. If you wish to remove the data stored in your browser, you can do so at any time through your browser settings, or by using the data reset options available within the application under Settings.
